Community Planning
The City of Rossland’s Planning & Development Department are responsible for developing and implementing strategies, policies, and regulations to guide community growth and development – so that we keep aligned with our community’s vision for the future, as outlined in the Official Community Plan. The Planning Information Portal is also a useful tool for finding planning bylaws and applications.
The City’s Planning and Development Department is responsible for developing and implementing strategies, policies, and regulations to guide community growth and development in alignment with the Official Community Plan.
The Planning and Development Department, in partnership with the Building Department and the Operations Department, administer the following:
- Long-range planning and projects; and
- Planning Services:
- Processing applications related to the development of the land and buildings; and
- Processing amendments to the Official Community Plan and Zoning Bylaw.
