Rossland has a variety of parks for outdoor sports and recreational activities. Just a friendly reminder that all our fields, play parks and green spaces are NO SMOKING ZONES (this includes vaping) For more information or to book outdoor spaces, see below and follow the applicable links.

The City of Rossland maintains and operates a variety of outdoor recreation and athletic facilities. Typically open for use sometime in May, subject to precipitation and saturation levels.
There are three fields for public enjoyment, and they can also be rented for events and activities.
- JUBILEE PARK – located at Jubilee and Queen St.
- COOK FIELD – located at Cook Ave and Davis St.
- CENTENNIAL FIELD – located off Dunn Cres.
A Basketball hoop is located at Nickleplate Park

Rossland has four Green spaces around town with play structures.

Rossland has two bike skills parks for development and practice and a Skateboard park (open from Spring until Fall and for all users – Skateboards, Rollerblades, BMX, Scooters & FUN!)
They are all accessible from downtown, and there is ample parking available for park and trail users.
There is no charge for park use or parking. *(Unless you are wanting to run and event then please email the Recreation Department)

Park Etiquette
Take turns and allow everyone to use the park.
Don’t linger in riding areas.
Give slower and smaller riders the right of way.
Respect the park, grounds, and other users. No littering, graffiti or bad language, please. And NO SMOKING, (this includes vaping)
The skatepark surface can be slippery when wet, icy, or covered with leaves or tree needles. Use at this time is not recommended.
Safety
Skateboarding and mountain biking are high-risk activities that can result in injury.
The use of protective gear – helmets, wrist guards, and elbow and knee pads – is strongly recommended.
Rossland’s outdoor ice rink is open yearly and are weather-permitting. The rink are available for community use, free of charge. The condition of the rinks is changeable due to weather conditions. No play is permitted after 10:00 pm.
- Cook Field Outdoor Rink is located at Cook and Davis St.
The season begins when weather conditions permit, usually from mid-December until mid-March.
The Rossland Tennis Courts built circa 1905 are located 2630 LeRoi Ave. (off Park St & 1 block south of Columbia Ave.) A dedicated group of volunteers keep the 3 courts maintained. There is a washroom on site.

Memberships $20.00 single, $40.00 families

The Tennis Courts are on the Rossland Heritage Walking Tour.
Rossland has a Pickleball court up at Red Mountain Village. Located off Olaus Way at Silvertip Lodge. This is a shared tennis court so the lines are drawn for Pickleball and the nets are removable.
The use of this court is free of charge but please be mindful of the noise level as there are residents living in close proximity to this court.
