Council News

Don’t forget! Rossland’s municipal election is coming up Oct. 15, 2022 at the Miners Hall. 8am-8pm. Many thanks to the eleven community members who put their names forward for the six spots on City Council and the two mayoral candidates.

The new Council will be sworn in early in November and will have its Inaugural Meeting on November 7, 2022.

Many thanks to the Rotary Club for organizing and hosting the very informative All Candidates Forum at RSS and to the individual citizens, Jan Micklethwaits, Ericka Stephen-Rennie and Andrew Rennie who hosted the fun “Beer and Ballots” event at Mook Thai. Many thanks to June at Mook Thai for providing the delicious snacks too. Both events were well attended and gave citizens an opportunity to get to know the candidates.
