Campfire prohibition in Southeast BC
Effective at 3 p.m. PDT on Monday, July 10, 2023,
Category 1 campfires will be prohibited throughout the Southeast Fire Centre to help prevent human-caused wildfires and protect public safety. Campfire prohibition coming to Southeast – BC Wildfire Service (gov.bc.ca)
This campfire prohibition will remain in effect until noon PDT on October 28, 2023, or until the orders are rescinded.
