The 2022 General Local Elections will be held on October 15, 2022
Local Government elections in British Columbia are held every four years. This includes elections for Mayors, Councillors and School Trustees.

On Saturday, October 15, 2022, voters in the City of Rossland will vote to elect: 1 Mayor, 6 Councillors, 1 School Trustee to the board of School District No. 20 (Kootenay-Columbia). Early voting opportunities will be held on Wednesday, October 5 and Wednesday, October 12, 2022. All voting opportunities are open 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Voter Information & Eligibility
You can vote in the City of Rossland election for Mayor and Councillors, and School District No. 20 Trustee if you are a resident of Rossland (“resident elector”), or own property in Rossland even if you don’t reside in Rossland (“non-resident property elector”).
