Trail Improvement Project scheduled to begin June 22, 2026
RED Mountain Resort and the City of Rossland are happy to announce additional upgrades to the Centennial Trail.
Scheduled to begin June 22, crews will regrade and resurface the section of trail shown in the map. This work will reduce some of the steeper grades, creating a smoother, more accessible trail for walkers, runners, cyclists, families, and other trail users.
The approximately $90,000 project, funded by RED Mountain Resort, will also prepare this section of trail for potential paving in the future.
Please note that this section of the trail will be closed during construction. Trail users should follow posted signage and use the designated detour until the work is complete.
Thank you for your patience as we work to make the Centennial Trail more accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
