The deadline to pay your property taxes is Thursday, July 2, before 4:00pm
City Hall is open 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. to accept payments leading up to the due date:
We are closed July 1 for the statutory holiday.
You can pay your taxes in person at City Hall by cash, cheque, debit, and credit (3rd party fees apply to credit card payments).
You can also pay your property taxes online, by mail, and through your financial institution. More information on payment options: Property Taxes – Rossland
Residents eligible for the homeowner grant must apply every year, directly to the province, to avoid a penalty: https://www2.gov.bc.ca/…/annual…/home-owner-grant.
A 10% penalty will be added to any unpaid current year taxes after the payment deadline.
