Downtown Tree Maintenance Notice
City of Rossland Public Works will be applying a Health Canada–approved dormant spray to select downtown ornamental trees as part of routine spring maintenance.
The treatment helps protect trees from overwintering insects and disease, supports long‑term tree health, and reduces the need for stronger treatments later in the season. Applications are done while trees are dormant and scheduled during calm weather to minimize spray drift.
Please avoid treated areas during application and until surfaces are dry. Keep pets leashed and away from sprayed trees while work is underway. Effected areas will be barricaded off.
