Centennial Trail Improvement Project
Project Updates.
Works are now complete and the trail is open.
This week – June 22 – 26, 2026
- Placed granular fill to subgrade
- Installed culvert
What’s happening?
Crews will regrade and resurface a section of Centennial trail.

See project area in map below. Location on Centennial trail is by Caldera. Use detour through Caldera neighbourhood, as shown.
Why is this important?
This work will reduce some of the steeper grades, creating a smoother, more accessible trail for walkers, runners, cyclists, families, and other trail users.
How is it being funded?
The approximately $90,000 project, funded by RED Mountain Resort, will also prepare this section of trail for potential paving in the future.
