Community Support (Grant-in-Aid) Funding

Check back in September for 2020 submission deadlines and requirements and a link will be provided for your application.

Any requests over the amount of $25,000 will be required to make a presentation to Council. If time permits, any group requesting under $25,000 will also be invited to make a presentation to Council. Presentations will be conducted during regular Council Meetings, or Committee of the Whole Meetings scheduled in November or December annually. Grants may take the form of property tax exemption under the provisions of the Community Charter, free or subsidized use of City Facilities, in-kind benefits or cash. Approval of a grant application does not imply or suggest approval in subsequent years. Council may, at any time, request additional information from applicants. All successful applicants will be required to complete an annual report or post-project report. Only fully completed applications will be considered.
